Rockets Knock Off Red Bulls at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Riverside Red Bulls, 8-5, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum today. Leading the charge for Kelowna was third baseman Constantino Caola. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was Kelowna reliever Mark Sparling, now 2-0. The loser was Dave Suther. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Jerry Brown.
Chris Trevino drove in one run for Kelowna. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jeremy Parrott. It was his 4th RBI of the season.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Caola.
Kelowna is in 4th place in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League with a record of 21-18.
