Wolverines Squelch Snaps Offense in Shutout Win
|
Wichita right-hander Ma-huan Chen was in fine form, shutting out the Cincinnati Snaps, 4-0. Andy Alvarez sewed up the save, his 1st. Wichita now has a 3-game win streak.
Making an impact for Wichita was center fielder Ruben Ortega. He drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the first. For the game, Ortega went 1 for 4 with a double.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Chen.
