The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Madison Beehive by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Randy Parrell. Parrell went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Rockets on the day. Kelowna now has a record of 17-14.

The Beehive had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Rockets going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old left fielder Wilson Chavez came to the plate.
