McDaniel, Rams Serve Up 7-5 Win
The 3-RBI night of first baseman Brett McDaniel, who is tied for 3rd in the RAA with a 1.154 OPS, helped the Frisco Rams triumph, 7-5, over the Pacifica Shamrocks. Steve Thomas got the win, improving to 4-4. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 3. With the win, Frisco pushed its record to 23-12.

McDaniel had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Dave Campbell, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Rams a 6-4 lead. It was the 13th double of the year for McDaniel.

"There's so many different ways you can win a game," said winning manager Joe Renken.
