The Hawaii Honu were defeated, 4-1, by the Bloomington Blazers at Arson Arena, even though Chris Sweeney pitched well for Hawaii. Erik McKnight closed the door for Bloomington, picking up his 1st save of the year. The Blazers saw their record improve to 20-17.

Josh Neuner, who finished 5th in the RCL in wins above replacement with 5.8 in 2062, took Hawaii hurler Chris Sweeney deep in the bottom of the sixth. His solo home run put the Blazers on top, 2-1. In all, Neuner had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Neuner.
