The Montreal Mounties eked out a 3-2 win versus the Bighorn Bison at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Eddie Galloza. He was terrific. The winner was Galloza. He threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Israel Cancel. Jim LeMay nailed down his 3rd save.

Cody Jaeger had a direct impact on the outcome. Jaeger contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Montreal up, 3-0.

Montreal manager Julián Martínez commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
