Austin Hyde powered the Havana Stogies to a win over the Chicago Eclipse. The final score was 6-4. The Havana right fielder, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in hits with 44, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Sam Del Grosso, the winner, improved to 6-0. He held the Eclipse to 4 runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 10 and walking 7. Ben Benson got credit for the save for Havana. It was his 10th of the year.

With Havana leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Hyde hit a fastball from Chris Titus for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Stogies ahead, 4-0.

Said Havana manager Taylor Hillary: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."

With the win, Havana has a record of 17-20. Chicago falls to 20-17.
