The Windsor Royals topped the Kelowna Rockets, 8-1, in RCL AA action at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Windsor first baseman Harry Stimac. Diego del Moral got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the Rockets to 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. The win takes Windsor to 19-13.

Stimac contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Windsor in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Stimac took a fastball from Javier Rios and stroked the home run to center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Royals to leap in front, 2-1.

"We had a nice day," said Windsor skipper Luis Hernández.
