Rams Make It 5 In a Row with 10-7 Triumph Over Buzzard's Bay
The Frisco Rams downed the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 10-7, the largest share of the credit belonging to second baseman Mark Eassson. On the day, Eassson went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rams. Pedro Lerma picked up the win in relief for Frisco, while Chris Sipes took the loss. The win gives Frisco a record of 20-10.

Eassson contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Frisco in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-0, Eassson took a sinker from Chris Sipes and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Rams to leap in front, 4-3.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Eassson.
