The Wichita Wolverines overcame a pretty good performance by Fraser Valley pinch hitter Gary Russell, beating the Black Bears, 4-2, at The Stetson Bowl. Russell went 1-1 with a home run. Dustin Booth locked down his 3rd save. Fraser Valley drops to 16-13.

Jared Pytlak contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat helped Wichita get the win.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Pytlak.
