Crocodiles Suffer 7-5 Setback
Peyton Miller had a good game, but he could not keep the Louisiana Crocodiles from falling, 7-5, to the Fraser Valley Black Bears at The Stetson Bowl. The Louisiana center fielder was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk in the loss. With the loss, Louisiana sinks to 15-15.

Cris Mendez had a big 2-run double for the Black Bears in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Fraser Valley leading 5-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from Jonathan Thillet and stroked the double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Black Bears ahead, 7-2.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Mendez said after the game.
