The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats bumped off the Murraysville Peacocks, 7-6, at Red Bull Stadium. Jon Michaud hit 3 singles and 1 double. He also had 2 RBI. Buzzard's Bay reliever Robby Medlin got the win, raising his record to 4-2. Nick Tullo was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Murraysville to 13-13.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 27-year old catcher Bill Caron. Caron had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beetlecats ahead, 4-3. For the game, Caron had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
