Riverside Red Bulls starter Nate Ezzo turned in an exceptional performance against the Rock River Rats at The Rat Hole, resulting in a Riverside win, 4-2. The Rats, now 10-20, continue their slow start.

Riverside relied on the hitting of Omar Castillo to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Bulls on top, 4-0. For the game, Castillo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I liked his command," said Riverside manager Sean Bergeron. "Nate was throwing strikes."
