The Chargers faced a stiff challenge from Pacifica pitcher Tzu-hsia Tu, but persevered to claim a win at Albert Park. The final score was 5-4. Tu went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Jose Lopez got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.2 innings. The Chargers, now 24-6, have played some good baseball in the early going.
