Behind a fine performance from Danny Sullivan, the Sandy Springs Spartans knocked off the Wichita Wolverines in 12 innings, 6-4. Sullivan went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Spartans. Wichita, with the loss, is 6-17.

Sullivan had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a 1-0 fastball from Danny Riemer, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Spartans a 6-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Sullivan.

"It was terrific getting this win," Sullivan said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
