The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners rode a solid performance from 20-year-old starting pitcher Terry Hearn to a win, beating the Montreal Mounties, 6-1, at Mount Royal Grounds. The Ridge Runners now own a record of 19-16.

The Ridge Runners got a big at-bat from right fielder Antonio Paiz. For the game, Paiz went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Eagle Rock a 3-0 lead.

"It's not about individual awards," Paiz told a Eagle Rock Today reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
