Steelheads Lose By a Run at Boise
Roaring River third baseman Jose Mejia had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-9, to Boise at Basque Block Field. Mejia hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Hawks, with just their 7th win in 23 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Boise took the lead, 10-8, on Luis Rios's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Roaring River pitcher Rob Alexander in the bottom of the seventh.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Rios.
