The Kelowna Rockets and Pacifica Shamrocks played an entertaining game for McCormick Field patrons.

The 6-5 Kelowna win over Pacifica was due largely to Tyler Sertic. The Rockets shortstop was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Preston Stenzel was credited with the save for Kelowna, his 5th of the season.

Dan Huskey, who is tied for 5th in the RAA with a .371 batting average, helped out the Kelowna cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Huskey said. "That's why you play the game."

The Shamrocks are now 7-15.
