Sasquatch Use Late Rally to Win
|
The Jacksonville Pilots got a sterling performance from pitcher B.J. Tourtelotte, but the Seattle Sasquatch still prevailed, 5-2. Tourtelotte threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. With the victory, the Sasquatch record stands at 13-22.
Seattle used the clutch hitting of Mark Ballard to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sasquatch ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Sasquatch," said Ballard.
