The Clearwater Seagulls got production up and down the lineup while beating the Spokane Bulldogs, 14-2. One standout was first baseman Zach Johnson. Johnson, who is tied for 2nd in the TAA in runs scored with 23, was 1-1 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Ed Ramos got the win, improving to 1-2. He held the Bulldogs to 1 run on 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 12 and walking 2. The Bulldogs, now 6-20, continue their sluggish start.

Clearwater got a big at-bat from Stockton, California native David Ottman, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Seagulls ahead, 8-1.
