Earthquakes Handle Marauders, Grab 5-3 Win
|
San Francisco right-hander Travis Crane pitched his team to victory over the Maple Marauders at Golden Gate Park. The final score was 5-3. The winning pitcher was Crane, now 4-1. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. The loss has the Marauders at 10-19.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from center fielder Dylan Robertson. For the game, Robertson went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 3-0 lead.
