The Rock River Rats reigned over the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters in damp conditions.

Nathan Snook impressed in the 9-2 Rock River win over Niagara Falls. Snook went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. Jerry Fey picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-0. He struck out 6 in 5.1 innings. Lee Pearl was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Rock River second baseman Isaiah Williams contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 17th hit of the season and put the Rats ahead, 3-0.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Williams.

The Pipe Fitters, now 8-14 this season, have struggled to play .500 ball.
