The Louisiana Crocodiles eked out a 7-6 win versus the Pacifica Shamrocks at The Swamp. Nobody did more than designated hitter Kevin Potts, who captured player of the game honors. Chris Schmidt picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Tzu-hsia Tu was tagged with the loss. The save was credited to Alex Bustillos, his 5th.

Louisiana took a 5-4 lead on Orlando Orellana's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Pacifica pitcher Tzu-hsia Tu in the bottom of the seventh.

"The vibe's good," said Louisiana manager James Lee. "We've got to keep it going."

The Shamrocks, now 7-17, continue their poor start.
