Shamrocks Lose, 10-6, at The Swamp
|
Pacifica left fielder Erik Lubin was sensational. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Louisiana beat the Shamrocks, 10-6. Lubin was named the player of the game despite the loss. Luis Miniel was the winning pitcher. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 10 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. Jerry Guzman closed the game out for Louisiana, earning his 1st save.
Kevin Potts, who is tied for 7th in the RAA in bases on balls with 18, contributed to the Louisiana win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
