Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Boise Hawks and Kelowna Rockets.

Boise third baseman Jayden Minor was a significant contributor in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Kelowna Rockets. He went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Hawks. Alejandro Garcia earned the save for Boise, his 4th of the year.

With the game tied, 3-3, in the top of the sixth, Minor had a key at-bat for Boise. With a runner on 3rd, Minor hit a run-scoring single off Jack Collis, making the score 4-3, Hawks.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Minor said.

Kelowna falls to 10-9.
