Pacifica Triumphs with Late Surge
Pacifica first baseman Pedro Quintero contributed significantly to his team's 9-5 win over the Atlantic City Rollers. Quintero, who is tied for 6th in the RAA with a 1.080 OPS, went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Shamrocks. Manuel Cardenas collected save number 6. Pacifica is now 10-9.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Ricky DeMichelis came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Atlantic City pitcher Mike Vega, he hit a 2-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Pacifica on top, 5-4.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said , the Atlantic City manager.
