Windsor took on Pacifica in front of a lively crowd.

The Windsor Royals cruised to a win over the Pacifica Shamrocks, 12-4, at McCormick Field. Shawn Kelly led the way, going 2-for-5 for Windsor. Diego del Moral, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held the Shamrocks to 4 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Victor Valdez closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

Paul McCartney helped out the Windsor cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the second baseman went 1-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs.

"We maximized our offense today," said Windsor skipper Luis Hernández. "That makes everyone's life easier."

Windsor is now 12-10.
