The West Island Jazz defeated the Eureka Hornets, 7-6, at Stade Claude Raymond. Bob Enriquez was a standout performer for West Island. His 4 hits included 2 singles and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 1 he knocked in. The win went to Efrain Gutierrez in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Matt Acrey took the loss. With the win, West Island pushed its record to 21-16.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Enriquez hit a fastball from Dave Murphy for a run-scoring single. The Jazz, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Enriquez said.
