Due in large part to shortstop Ernesto Llamas, the Frisco Rams sunk the Beaumont Drillers, 7-4. Llamas was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The defeat makes the Drillers 6-11.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the ninth, with the game tied, Jonah Blagdon was at the plate when Frisco scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Rams to go in front, 6-4.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Llamas told a Frisco Citizen reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
