The Kelowna Rockets topped the Murraysville Peacocks, 7-0, in RCL AA action at Red Bull Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Kelowna pitcher and Dunblane, Canada, native Jeff Spotton. The victory makes Kelowna 9-8.

Spotton made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The Kelowna right-hander encountered little resistance from the Murraysville hitters. His season record is now 2-1.

Spotton attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
