Beetlecats Rocked By Rockets, 11-0
A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old third baseman Randy Parrell helped the Kelowna Rockets beat the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 11-0. Felix Cristan picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 6 in 8.2 innings. With the loss, Buzzard's Bay drops to 7-10.

Shane Thompson went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Kelowna. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Chet Black. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

Buzzard's Bay manager Miles Bowen called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
