At San Jose Municipal Stadium, the Pacifica Shamrocks and Silicon Valley Hackers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Silicon Valley Hackers picked up a win at San Jose Municipal Stadium, topping the Pacifica Shamrocks, 9-3. On the mound for Silicon Valley was left-hander Edgar Arredondo. He played a principal role in the triumph. Arredondo got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

In the bottom of the third, Silicon Valley shortstop Josh Bigrigg had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Bigrigg stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 4-2, Silicon Valley. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Arredondo said.
