Crocodiles Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Getting an impressive start from Francisco Pereda, Louisiana beat Murraysville by the score of 5-1. Louisiana is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 15 games.

The Crocodiles got a big at-bat from designated hitter John Rice. For the game, Rice went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Louisiana a 3-1 lead.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Crocodiles manager Peter McColgan. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
