Pennsylvania Beats Jacksonville, 5-2

The Pennsylvania Butterflies knocked off the Jacksonville Pilots, 5-2, in Thurman Munson League action at Arnold Field. Pennsylvania pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Marty Taborda had an outstanding performance. Dakson Rocket collected his 7th save. The Butterflies are now 15-20.
Jeff Yurick had a big 2-run home run for the Butterflies in the top of the fifth inning. With Pennsylvania leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a cutter from Jeremy Davis, who is tied for 7th in the TML in strikeouts with 35, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Butterflies on top, 4-0.
Said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
