Frisco took on Kelowna in front of a lively crowd.

Willie Jiminez added some punch to the Frisco offense, helping them outmuscle the Kelowna Rockets, 9-7. In the game, Jiminez, who is tied for 9th in the RAA in doubles with 4, was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. The win was credited to Eddie Gomez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Alan Moors took the loss.

Brett McDaniel came through with a big-time hit for Frisco. The right fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 9-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We're in a rut," said Kelowna manager Antonio Moreno.
