In a low-scoring contest between the Fraser Valley Black Bears and the Wauwatosa Indians, Jeff Hair was the X factor. The Fraser Valley left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Tommy Spezia earned his 4th save, after closing out the game. The loss makes Wauwatosa 9-6.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Black Bears had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when third baseman Bob Vazquez hit a 2-run single. The single came off Justin Martin and made the score 2-0, Black Bears. Vazquez went 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.

"It was our day today," Hair told the Fraser Valley Bulletin. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
