Alarcon belts 2 home runs to Fuel Cornhuskers Offense
DeKalb took on Pacifica in front of a lively crowd.

The DeKalb Cornhuskers coasted to a win over the Pacifica Shamrocks, 12-3. Rich Alarcon had a good day at the plate for DeKalb. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Picking up the win was Edgar Peraza. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 4.

Alarcon contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for DeKalb in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Alarcon took a fastball from Chris Gonzales and stroked the home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Cornhuskers to leap in front, 2-1.

"We hit the ball hard," said DeKalb manager Kinnojo Hara. "Line drive after line drive."

The win takes DeKalb to 6-7.
