Storm Troopers Slip Past Carson City, 3-2

The Storm Troopers had to overcome a fine performance from Carson City pitcher Arthur Pickering to grab a 3-2 win at The Clone Army. Pickering allowed 1 earned run over 6.1 innings. The win gives the Storm Troopers a record of 8-7.
Pete Dill had a nice at-bat for the Storm Troopers with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With a runner on 1st, the third baseman hit a walk-off run-scoring double, which would prove important in the San Antonio win.
"I felt good up there," said Dill. "I saw the ball well."
