Behind the hitting of Carlos Aispuro, the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters clipped the Evanston Bishops, 5-4. Aispuro went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles for the Pipe Fitters. The win went to Danny Snow in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Symão Alegro took the loss. Pete Wood earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 1st of the year.

Sam Bridgman helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the center fielder was 1-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We did enough to win," said Bridgman.

The Pipe Fitters have hit the ground running, raising their record to 9-4. While it's still too soon to talk about Niagara Falls hoisting their 3rd League Championship Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.
