Rockets Continue Skid, Thanks to Edwards, Canucks
The Moose Jaw Canucks downed the Kelowna Rockets, 8-5, at Ashton Gate. Dan Edwards led the way, going 2-for-4 for Moose Jaw. Jim Metcalfe got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 8 innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. The Rockets fall to 5-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2066 season.

Edwards had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Canucks went on to win.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Kelowna manager Antonio Moreno.
