Wall Excels in 7-6 Fraser Valley Win
|
It might have been a rain-shorted game, but Black Bears fans didn't seem to mind as long as their team got the win.
The Fraser Valley Black Bears downed the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-6, at The Kennel. The Black Bears were led by Zac Wall. Wall went 2-3 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Fraser Valley reliever Chris Roberts snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ricardo Reyes shouldered the loss.
In the first inning, Wall had a grand slam home run for Fraser Valley. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Black Bears on top, 4-0.
"We played hard and won," said Wall. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
Fraser Valley has a record of 4-5.
