The Quebec Armada and Cabo San Lucas Toreros obliged fans looking for a good time.
Adam Whitlock had a good game, but he could not keep the Cabo San Lucas Toreros from falling, 6-5, to the Quebec Armada at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The Cabo San Lucas left fielder hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 in the loss. The win went to Bill Zink in relief, making him now 1-0. Terry Dunne took the loss for Cabo San Lucas.
Enrique Leon's at-bat in the bottom of the eighth inning was a big one for Quebec. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Quebec trailing 5-4, the third baseman reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run.
In postgame comments to the Quebec Times, Leon said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
Quebec is now 2-0.
