Beetlecats Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
Marco Acosta, who is rated as the 91st best prospect by BNN, had a strong outing for the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats against the Moose Jaw Canucks at The Coffee Grinder. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Buzzard's Bay reliever Matt Williams was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Al Ritter took the loss for Moose Jaw. The loss lowers the Moose Jaw record to 4-5.

Buzzard's Bay got a knockout punch from Zach Prickett. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
