In a tight contest at Red Bull Stadium, the Kelowna Rockets edged the Riverside Red Bulls by the score of 8-7. Kelowna designated hitter Chase Gainey, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The winner was Kelowna reliever Doeke de Jong, now 1-0. The loser was Joe Simonis. The win moves Kelowna to a record of 4-5.
