The Kelowna Rockets scooped up a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, dumping the Adirondack Lumberjacks, 6-2. Jeff Spotton was essential to his team's success. The win gives Kelowna a record of 5-2.

Randy Parrell had a big 2-run home run for the Rockets in the bottom of the first inning. With Kelowna leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jaden Gantt and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Rockets on top, 3-0.

"Jeff looked very determined to have a good game," said Kelowna manager Ch'ak'iso Chaga. "He was totally focused and he produced."
