Loss Tarnishes Fine Performance by Aliimalu
The Boise Hawks had to overcome a big game from Pacifica third baseman Peleke Aliimalu to leave McCormick Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-5. Aliimalu went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Raul Guerrero, the winning pitcher, is now 1-1. He went 8.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 1 and walking 3. Pacifica drops to 4-3.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Nate Sullivan? The Boise right fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Hawks on top, 3-0. For the game, Sullivan had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
