Indians Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
|
The Wauwatosa Indians knocked off the Spokane Bulldogs, 4-3, in TML AA action at Albert Park. Wauwatosa pitcher and St. Louis, Missouri, native Ray Thompson had an outstanding performance. Wauwatosa is now 6-1.
Wauwatosa took a 4-3 lead on Angelo Becerra's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Becerra hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Spokane pitcher Johnny Parke visibly frustrated.
Wauwatosa manager Matunde Kabaila was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
