6-3 Loss Extends Boise Skid
|
Boise got a terrific game from first baseman Rogelio Ros. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Pacifica, 6-3. Ros belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The loss puts Boise at 0-6.
Rich Horvath was 1 for 3 with 2 walks for Pacifica. The slick-fielding center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tatsuhi Naki. It was his 3rd walk of the season.
"Glad to get this win," said Horvath. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
