It was high-fives all around for Scott West at The Clone Army today.
He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the San Antonio Storm Troopers. West smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 7-2 win.
"Scott was hitting everything," said Wolverines manager Shane Campbell. "It really was a special game for him."
In the opposing dugout, Storm Troopers manager Yen-nien Zhou told BNN beat writers that West "ambushed" the club.
"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, West oversleeps next time."
Scott West flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
So far this season, West has recorded a .478 batting average with 11 hits, no home runs, 6 RBIs, 3 runs scored and a .519 OBP.
