|
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats called upon starter Daniel Castro, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Louisiana Crocodiles, 3-2. Castro yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-0. Danny Torres earned save number 1 this season.
Buzzard's Bay took a 3-2 lead on Aaron McClaskey's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which McClaskey hit in the top of the eighth, left Louisiana pitcher Vicente Cosme visibly frustrated.
