The Kelowna Rockets went down to defeat to Daniel Thompson and his Buzzard's Bay teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Beetlecats. Buzzard's Bay reliever Robby Medlin picked up the win. Jaylen Hester took the loss for Kelowna. John Peters recorded his 2nd save for Buzzard's Bay.

Nick Reed had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for Buzzard's Bay. With the bases loaded and the Beetlecats leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
