Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Buffalo Bison and Bloomington Blazers.

The Buffalo Bison beat the Bloomington Blazers, 7-5, at Arson Arena. Buffalo left fielder Cliff Millar, who finished 5th in the TML in on-base percentage with .409 last year, collected 1 single and 1 double with 2 RBI. Buffalo reliever D.J. Handrahan picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Sergio Apodaca was tagged with the loss.

Buffalo used a timely hit from Devin Staples to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bison ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Staples told the Buffalo Times.
