Jazz 6-2 Winners Versus Mexico City
The West Island Jazz converted a terrific effort from starter Jordan Phelps into a win over the Mexico City Luchadores at Stade Claude Raymond. The Jazz won the game by a final score of 6-2. West Island has now won 3 straight, while the Luchadores have lost 3 in a row.

John Bernstein had a big bases-clearing double for the Jazz in the bottom of the fifth inning. With West Island leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from fan favorite Justin Dolan and swatted a double to left. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jazz ahead, 5-0.

"I like to lead by example," said Bernstein. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
